Christmas Challenges 2011

This challenge is hosted by The True Book Addict and it has it's own blog!

Because challenge are apparently addictive - I have signed up for this one too!

I am however, shooting only for The Mistletoe level - 2-4 books.

These are the books I plan to read:

1. Hot for the Holidays - anthology

2. The Christmas Brides by Linda Lael Miller

3. Christmas with a Vampire - anthology

This reading challenge is being hosted by Book Lovers, Inc.

Of course I had to sign up for this one too!  Challenge Addict - remember!

Overlapping is acceptable, so I figured I could handle one more holiday reading event.

I decided that I would keep the theme and go for the Serial Mistletoe-er level of 4-6 books.

So... my list for this challenge will be the same as for the Christmas Spirit Challenge, but I will be adding a book to the top of the list as this challenge begins earlier!

Yet another challenge - I am sure it's an addiction!

This challenge is being hosted by Good Golly Miss Molly.

The goal is to read 5 books before you buy yourself one.  So...read 5 = buy 1.

I love this idea - it's a great way to handle both my reading mountain and my book buying obsession!

Read-a-thon! April 25, 2011 - May 1, 2011

The Spring's Serenity Read-a-thon is being hosted by The True Book Addict!

Spring's Serenity Read-A-Thon,coming the week of Monday, April 25th through Sunday, May 1st.  The read-a-thon will run from 12:00am Monday through 11:59pm Sunday (adjust your time zones accordingly).   Remember, you can join in any time through the week and read as little or as much as you want.  It's all about personally challenging ourselves and also having fun as a community of readers.

April is Net Galley Month!

For those that don't know, NetGalley is a way for publishers to share their digital galleys securely to readers. Bloggers, librarians, booksellers.

Emily at Red House Books has declared April to be Net Galley Month!  I think this is a fantastic idea!  I am a Net Galley member and I too have amassed quite a list of galleys that I have been trying to get read and this challenge is the perfect opportunity to get me going on them!  So.... the idea is to read as many Net Galley books as possible in April 2011!  If you are interested in participating - then go here and sign up to be a part of this!

2011 Kick Ass Heroine Challenge

I totally couldn't resist this challenge - I will surely drown in the books I need to read this year to finish all the challenges I have already signed up for - but truly ... Wonder Woman! Loved her as a kid, who didn't want to grow up to be her?  I never missed the show when it was on TV.  So...with that in mind - I have joined the challenge - go check it out - I know you want to!!!

2011 Debut Author Challenge
