Welcome to The Wormhole and my day on Rosalie's tour!
The Series is call Demons of the Infernum!
I am pleased to feature Rosalie Lario!
Rosalie Lario practiced real estate law for several years before finally admitting to herself that negotiating contracts wasn’t nearly as fun as dreaming up stories. As an avid reader of romances and supernatural stories, she knew she wanted to write paranormal romance.
When not writing, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son in their home state of Florida, as well as searching out things that go bump in the night. She still hasn’t found any proof of the supernatural, but she's keeping her fingers crossed.

? When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
I’ve always been fascinated with the process of writing a book, ever since I first became addicted to Anne Rice around the age of 11 or 12. But I honestly never believed I could sit down and write out an entire story. The thought of it seemed so daunting. After my son was born in 2008, I was on maternity leave and had a bit more free time on my hands, so I decided I had nothing to lose in trying. I sat down to write my first book, and quickly became addicted!

? How many jobs did you have before you became a writer?
Uh...a lot, lol. In fact, I practiced as a real estate lawyer for five years before I ever sat down to write that first manuscript. I still teach business law courses on a university level part-time, which fits in perfectly with my writing and mommy schedule.

? How long does it take you to write a book?
It varies per book, but generally 2-4 months. I’d say that makes me a fast writer, but if you think of spending that much time on one single project, it’s a huge investment in time.

? Do you have a routine that you use to get into the right frame of mind to write?
I sit down, turn on my music (which generally isn’t music at all, but a soundtrack of the Amazon rainforest), and get to writing. Sometimes the words flow automatically, but other times I sit there staring blankly at the wall until I can build the scene I’m working on in my head. I’m a very visual person, so I have to be able to imagine the scene happening before I can write it down.

? Where do you get your ideas or inspiration for your characters?
Everywhere. Sometimes I’ll be watching a television show or reading a book, or even taking a walk, and inspiration will strike. I don’t think it’s so much about finding a certain thing to inspire me, but rather taking in visual experiences.

? How do you decide what you want to write about?
I usually have a lot of thoughts and stories floating around in my head. I’ll write the one that’s calling to me the most strongly...unless I’m under deadline, in which case I write whichever story I’m contracted to. J

? What books have most influenced your life?
Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles had a huge influence on me and my love for the paranormal. In the romance genre, I’m a huge fan of Karen Marie Moning (love her Highlander series), Jeaniene Frost, Teresa Medeiros (After Midnight is one of the yummiest books I’ve read), and Larissa Ione.

? What is the first book you remember reading by yourself?
Bunnicula. Still love that book.

? What are you reading right now?
The Hunt by Heather Killough-Walden. It’s part of her self-published Big Bad Wolf series, which is seriously hot and awesomely fun.

? What do you like to do when you are not writing?
Not writing? What’s that, lol? I live in FL, so when I’m not writing, I like to spend time at the beach or out on a boat. There’s something so spiritual about the ocean. I find it completely reenergizing.

? What is your favorite comfort food?
Mac and cheese! Or pasta of any variety. Or chocolate...yeah, chocolate!

? What do you think makes a good story?
One that’s so entertaining that I just can’t put it down. One that makes me laugh out loud. One in which I can lose myself and forget my troubles for a while.

? Who would you consider your favorite author and why? My favorite of favorites would have to be Karen Marie Moning. Her heroes are breathtaking and her heroines are spunky as hell.

? What book, if any, do you read over and over again?
Anything in Ms. Moning’s Highlander series. Also Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress series. I always crack up at least a few times when reading her work.

Fun random questions:
  • dogs or cats? Dogs if I must choose, but I’ll always pick ferrets first!
  • Coffee or tea? Both
  • Dark or milk chocolate? Either!
  • Rocks or flowers? Flowers
  • Night or day? Depends on my mood
  • Favorite color? Wine
  • Crayons or markers? Markers
  • Pens or pencils? Pens

Art gallery owner Brynn Meyers has no idea that her ability to read memories embedded in objects and drain people of their life force means she has demon ancestry. Unfortunately for Brynn, she’s also the key to raising an ancient zombie army, which puts her on every demon’s Most Wanted List.

And no one wants her more than Keegan’s father.

Keegan must protect Brynn from his father by any means necessary, but he’ll have to learn to harness the other half of his genetics—the far deadlier, uncontrollable half—when he starts to fall for the one woman standing between him and the vengeance he so desperately seeks. Review: Broods of Fenrir by Coral Moore

Broods of Fenrir by Coral Moore

Amazon Product Description:
Shapeshifter Brand Geirson was raised to rule the Broods of Fenrir, but he refused his birthright. Instead, he killed their brutal leader–his own father–and walked away. For hundreds of years he’s avoided brood society, until a werewolf kills an innocent human woman and Brand finds himself dragged back into the violent politics of the shapeshifters. When the two brood women who mean the most to him come under threat, he must take up the throne and risk becoming the kind of vicious bastard his father was, or let the broods descend further into chaos–taking the friend he swore to protect and his lover with them.

My thoughts:
Wonderfully written.  This is a story of loss and fear, anger, violence, and injustice; but it is also a story of hope, friendship, loyalty, courage and love.   Emotionally gripping and almost impossible to put down.
The characters are carefully created and drive the story, compelling the reader to turn the pages.  I found myself so invested into the emotions and situations of Coral Moore's amazing characters that I was drawn completely into the story, laughing and crying with the characters as their lives were unfolding.
I am torn as to who is my favorite character.
Brand is tormented by guilt from his past combined with both fear of and desire for what the future holds for him and his kind.  His sheer will to protect and improve the lives of the wolves is astonishing; and his willpower puts most to shame.
Dagny is...wow, what can a person say about her?  She is incredible.  Her spirit is unbreakable.  She is the perfect match for Brand.
Alice is  one of the most powerful characters in the book.  Gunni too, talk about courage!
Coral Moore has written a well paced, superbly woven tale that brings the reader to the very edge of that emotional cliff.  She has filled it with a thought provoking story, led by powerful characters.  Although the ending brings completion to issues and satisfaction to the conflicts, I was left wanting more...more pages!  It ended before I was ready to walk away from the characters.  So I plan to read everything else I can by Coral Moore, especially if it's about the Broods of Fenrir.
