I guess if I had to choose a book that influenced my life I would say:

Black Beauty by Anna Sewell

I read it in the third grade because my teacher said she thought I would like it - I loved it and have been an avid reader  ever since.

It's Friday and I am hoppin'! August 13 - 16, 2010

It's Friday - last Friday I got my post together and didn't get a chance to hop or follow - so this Friday I am starting earlier - it is only barely Friday - just 20 past midnight and so I am hoppin' now and hope to hop again late Friday night, early Saturday morning!  Hope you are all getting the chance to hop too!

I am hoping to start posting all my reviews on Saturday - so check back and see what I have been reading!

This week the question is: How many books do you have on your TBR?  

The answer to that question is so far out my my ability to answer that it shouldn't even be funny, but it is.  I remember a time when I had a TBR stack or pile.  Now I have shelves, piles, stacks, lists, boxes, and I am so far behind in reading all the books I want to read that I fear I will never catch up.  I am sure that if I quit buying and borrowing books, blogging, working, cooking, cleaning, eating, sleeping, and having any kind of social interaction with humans - I could finish reading all the books that I have in my TBR mountain in the next say three/four years.  Of course I could be wrong.  I hope your stack isn't like that too.

It's Friday!!!

Greetings once again!  It is Friday - thank goodness!  I am always pleased to find Friday has arrived!

As you can see I had a hard time choosing my pictures this week - so we benefit from a selection!

This week we are telling some of our favorite authors and why we love them - so...

My list of favorite authors grows almost with each new book, but I have to choose one for this (at least I picked to choose only one) so I am going to choose Larissa Ione.  I have just finished the first book in her Demonica series (the rest of the series is ordered already and I am counting the days!)  I have chosen her because I am a huge sucker for the perfect man.

It's the Hop!

I am from Minnesota - I didn't put that on the Mr. Linky - I guess I am an old blogger, but I still feel like a new blogger and apparently don't always follow direction!

It's the hop!  I have been so busy that I haven't been able to blog - although I have miraculously have found time to read (but I have been taking it from the night)!  On my way now to check out as many hop blogs as I can in the next 30 minutes - thank God for lunch break!  You can come hop too my clicking here!
