It's Friday! Hoppin' Great Day of the Week!

The Book Blogger Hop is is a place just for book bloggers and readers to connect and share our love of the written word!  This weekly BOOK PARTY is an awesome opportunity for book bloggers to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books!  It will also give blog readers a chance to find other book blogs to read!  So, grab the logo, post about the Hop on your blog, and start HOPPING!
The meme runs Friday through Monday and is hosted by Jennifer at Crazy For Books.

Question for this week:
"Who's your all-time favorite book villain?"
This was a tough one - thought about for a long time - the very idea of having a favorite villain is strange to me.  Really, isn't the premise behind a great villain that you don't like them? So I struggled to think of ONE "favorite" and came up with

Pennywise the clown from Stephen King's IT.
He is truly awful and I love that story.  Although I waver between The Dark Half and It as my all time favorite King reads.

Here is the link to the list of blogs who are hopping this week!  Have a great weekend!

I can't think of many "villains" because so many of them end up being too complex to say yeah, he's evil. Except maybe Lord Henry in The Pic of Dorian Grey - totally evil. But I really hated him so much that I hated the book. lol.

I haven't read It although I keep meaning to. I saw the movie when I was a kid and it scarred me for life (I've always had a hatred for clowns.) I'm a new follower from the Hop! Hope you have a great weekend!

My favorite book villain is, hands down, is the Napoleon of crime -
Professor James Moriarty.

It took me less than ten seconds to come up with my answer. But you'll
never guess why.

Oh I chose a Stephen King villain too, but I went with Randall Flagg, the Man in Black from The Gunslinger series!

OMG!! Pennywise gave me serious nightmares when I was younger. He is definitely an epic villain. When Tim Curry portrayed him for the tv movie, I almost died! He was so good, you didn't want to stop watching, but at the same time he scared the heck out of you!!! Now, every time I see IT, I have a very hard time looking at sinks and drains. LOL.

Thanks for the follow!! I am a new follower now!

Happy Hop!
