It takes a little longer to load now than before.
I love the book background and the brow color scheme. The only color that doesn't work for reading is the blue on brown. (The Heads up area about the blog hop.)
I would change that blue, and that alone.

Yeah, the blue is tough to read but the rest is pretty coolio. :)

It looks good!! one small thing that will help you ALOT is adding the width html after an image url. here is a great tut from Parajunkie
