It's Monday, What are you reading is a meme hosted by Sheila at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books.
Here is an explanation of the meme in the creator's own words:
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.
I love being a part of this and I hope you do too! As part of this weekly meme I love to encourage you all to go and visit the others participating in this meme. I offer a weekly contest for those who visit 10 or more of the Monday Meme participants and leave a comment. You receive one entry for every 10 comments, just come back here and tell me how many in the comment area.
I have just finished On the Edge by Ilona Andrews. It was a Kindle read and this is my first view of the cover. Not the people I pictured while reading.
This was a one day read for me. I really enjoyed the story. The author grabs you with the first line and keeps you on "the edge" of your seat to the end. I was left wondering when there would be more books in this series. The author builds great characters (both good and bad). She gives them the personality and character traits we all look for in our heros and villians. I love the twists of the story - no I am not sharing the twists! All in all a great read.

I've read some other reviews of Ilona Andrews and she sounds like a great author. Thanks for the review and I'll have to pick up a copy of one of her novels! If you want to check out what I've been reading stop by my blog. :)
Cute blog!
Drop by if you have time!

I like Ilona Andrews work. I agree about the picture on the book cover not matching up to my image of the characters. The next book in this series “Bayou Moon” is due to come out in late September. I also enjoy their (it’s a husband and wife team) Kate Daniels series.
